M. Neal Bridges

Neal Bridges has built his employment practice on a foundation of empathy. He understands that for many individuals, their employment isn’t simply a contract between an employer and an employee; It’s their livelihoods and their identities. Neal approaches every employment matter with the understanding that he’s not only delivering justice for his clients, but also peace of mind and hope for the future.

Much of Neal’s philosophy can be attributed to his previous work in family law, consumer protection, and tenant/landlord disputes. In all of these areas, he assisted clients who were at a disadvantage, but who ultimately achieved the results they deserved. Furthermore, his experience in small business formation and support, as well as estate planning, showed him the importance of forging strong relationships with his clients as he sought practical legal solutions to personal matters.

Through this experience, he became an adept negotiator. In stressful times, Neal’s clients consistently hope to avoid litigation. As a result, Neal has honed his negotiation skills so that he is often able to advocate for his clients without asking them to set foot in a courtroom. He consistently uses these skills in his employment practice, counseling and representing clients with employment and severance issues.

Neal is experienced in a wide array of employment law situations, from advising and negotiating severance agreements to representing clients in litigation over wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, or retaliation.

Outside of work, Neal serves the community through various board memberships and volunteer roles with his church and other faith-based ministries.

SUPERIOR ATTORNEY. I could not be more pleased and grateful for the representation and guidance I was provided during my entire legal process. This firm (especially M. Neal Bridges) was always available by email or phone and explained each step as we progressed through the journey. This was my first experience with a lawsuit and am delighted I chose this firm and M. Neal Bridges to represent, guide and encouragement through the entire process. I STRONGLY recommend this firm and M. Neal Bridges if you ever need assistance with a legal matter. He ALWAYS wanted what was best for me!

Day 1 I actually spoke with a human. Day 2 had my acceptance letter (I do not remember legally what it is called). From that point forward my random questions were always answered by actual people answering the phone. The process was detailed and intricate. There was not one stone left unturned in the details. Neal Bridges is the BEST!! We were successful the very first go round of mediation!!! Thank you Neal and your wonderful staff!!

I was fortunate to work with Neal. I told him from the start the company I was asking him to represent me with, were not ethical or honest and had years of history of doing what we were fighting over. He took it head on. He kept in contact with me for MANY months. He included me from the beginning, in the “next stage” options until the end. And we were successful. I highly recommend Neal and the Jackson Spencer Law firm.

Neal walked me through everything and was always there to answer any questions I had in a timely manner. He went above and beyond to guide me through my case every step of the way. Neal got me a fair settlement in a timely manner. I would recommend Neal. He is a great attorney to work with.

I was terminated in September by my employer. Although I felt the termination was unfounded, my main concern was my non-compete I had signed at the beginning of my employment. I knew I could find another position within my industry but my non-compete would prevent me for gaining employment for a period of time. I spoke with attorney Neal Bridges and together we went over the details of my employment, termination, and he reviewed my non-compete thoroughly.

Not only was Mr. Bridges able to get me released from my non-compete early, he was also able to get me a severance package due to unlawful termination issues as I am a female and over 50! I was very pleased to not only be able to get back to work in a timely manner but also be compensated for the time and stress [caused] by my unforeseen termination.

Mr. Bridges carefully explained to me the process and kept me updated as to the status of my case and was able to resolve this without a trial and a long drawn out mediation, trial, etc.

I would recommend Jackson Spencer Law and specifically Neal Bridges.
