In 2023, Jackson Spencer Law and its attorneys garnered a comprehensive array of prestigious accolades.
Notably, the firm secured a coveted place in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms, an exclusive honor reserved for firms with at least one attorney featured on the corresponding Best Lawyers in America list for the same year.
Founder and managing partner Jennifer Spencer, alongside partner M. Neal Bridges, achieved distinctions from Best Lawyers. Ms. Spencer was recognized for her work in Employment Law – Individuals and Litigation – Labor and Employment, marking her tenth consecutive year on the list of distinguished American lawyers. Mr. Bridges was recognized by The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch, a special category that celebrates attorneys in the early stages of their careers, particularly for his exemplary work in Litigation – Labor and Employment.
Both Best Lawyers and Ones to Watch combine independent research with peer feedback to identify the nation’s top-rated attorneys for inclusion in their annual list.
In addition to her Best Lawyers recognition, Ms. Spencer was included in the 2023 edition of Texas Super Lawyers in two areas: employment litigation and employment and labor law. Each year, no more than 5% of attorneys in each state are selected by Super Lawyers.
“I am humbled to be chosen once again by these prestigious ranking organizations, and it brings me immense joy to see my entire firm recognized, as well as my colleague Neal Bridges,” Ms. Spencer said. “Our collective recognition affirms that clients can place their trust in Jackson Spencer Law, knowing they are working with attorneys renowned for their unwavering commitment to excellence.”
Mr. Bridges has built his employment practice on a foundation of empathy; as such, he approaches every employment matter with the understanding that he’s not only delivering justice for his clients, but also peace of mind and hope for the future. This philosophy can be attributed to his previous work in family law, consumer protection, and tenant/landlord disputes. In all these areas, he assisted clients who were at a disadvantage but who ultimately achieved the results they deserved.
Similarly, Ms. Spencer is a champion for the rights of the employee who has been wrongfully terminated, discriminated against, harassed, retaliated against, or otherwise wrongfully treated in the workplace. In settlement talks, she has crafted strategies for the creative and favorable resolution of lawsuits and other disputes. If a favorable negotiated resolution is not possible, however, Ms. Spencer fully employs her more than three decades of courtroom experience on her client’s behalf.
