Jennifer Spencer, attorney and advocate for employee rights, has been named to the 2022 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. This year is her eighth year of recognition on the annual list. Additionally, M. Neal Bridges was named to the publication’s “Ones to Watch” list for labor and employment litigation.
Based on a process that combines independent research and peer feedback, Best Lawyers selects the highest-rated attorneys across the country for inclusion on the annual list. Attorneys are prohibited from paying for a spot on the list. “Ones to Watch” follows a similar methodology, but is a distinction given to attorneys who are relatively early in their careers.
“Publications like these are a great resource for individuals who are looking for trusted legal counsel,” said firm founder Ms. Spencer. “For those who are not in the legal profession, finding a lawyer can be intimidating, especially when dealing with a sensitive employment issue. We’re glad that this publication can help guide clients, and that Neal and I are on the list of trusted counsel.”
This recognition comes at a time of growth for Jackson Spencer Law, which recently added three new attorneys to its roster of employee advocates: Ronald Woessner, Nikki Britten, and Sara Barfield.
In addition to representing clients in their legal matters, the firm fosters a culture of thought leadership, having drafted blog posts analyzing the recent Bill Cosby verdict and its impact on the #MeToo movement, as well as how employees can advocate for themselves in severance negotiations.
