The Best Lawyers in America has selected Jackson Spencer Law founder and managing partner Jennifer Spencer for the 2023 list of the top attorneys in the country, while partner M. Neal Bridges was named to the annual issue of The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for his work in litigation – labor and employment.
This year is Ms. Spencer’s ninth year in the publication and Mr. Bridges’ second year as an honoree in Ones to Watch.
“I’m honored to be selected to Best Lawyers for another year and thrilled that Neal is included as well,” said Ms. Spencer. “He is a top-notch advocate, and with recognitions like these, clients can rest assured that when they work with Jackson Spencer Law, they’re working with attorneys with a reputation for excellence.”
Based on a process that combines independent research and peer feedback, Best Lawyers selects the highest-rated attorneys across the country for inclusion on the annual list. Attorneys are prohibited from paying for a spot on the list. “Ones to Watch” follows a similar methodology, but it is a distinction given to attorneys who are relatively early in their careers.
Mr. Bridges has built his employment practice on a foundation of empathy; as such, he approaches every employment matter with the understanding that he’s not only delivering justice for his clients, but also peace of mind and hope for the future. This philosophy can be attributed to his previous work in family law, consumer protection, and tenant/landlord disputes. In all these areas, he assisted clients who were at a disadvantage, but who ultimately achieved the results they deserved.
Similarly, Ms. Spencer is a champion for the rights of the employee who has been wrongfully terminated, discriminated against, harassed, retaliated against, or otherwise wrongfully treated in the workplace. In settlement talks, she has crafted strategies for the creative and favorable resolution of lawsuits and other disputes. If a favorable negotiated resolution is not possible, however, Ms. Spencer fully employs her more than three decades of courtroom experience on her client’s behalf.
